The hotel will welcome the holy month of Ramadan with unique Iftar and Sohoor offerings

10 April 2017

Marriott Downtown Abu Dhabi invites guests to share the ceremonial breaking of the fast with loved ones in the relaxed, family-friendly setting of Kuzbara. Located in the heart of the city, Kuzbara offers a traditional Iftar buffet with daily changing specials alongside live cooking stations.

After Iftar guests can enjoy a breeze on the rooftop where different flavours of hubbly bubbly are served. Looking out over the Abu Dhabi skyline, guests can enjoy an array of Ramadan sweets complemented by a selection of teas and Arabic coffee. A Sohoor set menu is served daily from 11pm to 2am.

For larger groups wishing for a unique Iftar experience, the private ballroom is the perfect setting. For groups of 25 or more people, the ballroom will be transformed into an Arabic oasis with antique lanterns and exquisite food for your private buffet service. David Lance, General Manager of Marriott Hotel Downtown Abu Dhabi adds: “In one of the most important periods in the Islamic calendar, the Holy Month of Ramadan is characterised by prayer, reflection and fasting, as well as the centuries-old tradition of sharing Iftar and Sohoor meals among families and friends after sunset and prayers. This will be our first Ramadan since the hotel opening in September 2016 and I hope we can welcome many guests for an authentic experience in our hotel.”

For a family getaway or staycation throughout Ramadan, Marriott Downtown Abu Dhabi has special hotel offers for UAE residents.
